Geezers Mark,
What's it cost for 140 mph these days. (:-
go well don't they, I hope your welding is up to it and it's good to see
your you have good high speed stability. This more than justifies the
expense to increase the ride height to a more sensible level. Can you
imagine your old bump steering setup handling that sort of speed safely - I
think not.
ppl that haven't been in a 510/FJt on song just can't image the power, and I
see you're creeping the boost up too, watch that detonation. I think I smell
an intercooler and 14 psi coming on, then they really are crazy in a 1600.
Was that on PULP or Optimax (tried that stuff yet, it goes well in the L
series too but exy)
Which diff in at the moment - you can use the gearing spreadsheet to check
my calculations.
Err... let's see
195/60x14 5th 0.852 at 6500 rpm
3.55 = 144.2 mph
3.70 = 138.4 mph
3.90 = 131.3 mph
insane (:-
Terry (just kiddn mate)

Gave it a go last night but ran out of road. Got to 6,500 in 5th and no
word of a lie, it wasn't slowing down. If I had another gear I'd go for it.
The speedo was hard off the clock. (Running 10psi) Tyres 195/60/r14's.
I'll give another go soon. I have no idea what speed I was doing !
Wardy
