Richard/Duncan,
The BW Full auto box was installed in OS 510's as well ie not only in Aussie
models but with a twist, the OS BW Auto was Made in England, there are heaps
of these in lhd 510's in the USA/Canada etc and also in RSA, Malcolm will
know about NZ as I don't.
I do remember your car now but I didn't until you jogged my memory in this
post. I remember things pretty well about the cars I see in the flesh but
not so well if I only read about them. Can you have a look at the plate on
your passenger side strut tower, at the bottom of it should have which
factory you're 1600 was built in and if you let us know where it was made it
will/may give me some clues about the origins of your car.
Terry

Duncan
I have a '72 "BW Full Auto" 1600. They are definitely built in Australia.
the BW auto was installed to up the Australian content. I had better check
the T/Shaft length as I hope to install a skyline or 240z box in it when the
auto croaks.
