Well this has got me tossed. There were only 2 dogleg boxes in 4 cylinders
in Aus, 180BSSS +130mm long box and the A10 Stanza SSS (short box). I wonder
if you've got a weird diff, hit hard up the bum (grin) sometime in it's
life? If you feel so inclined you could send some measurement down,
extension housing and tailshaft should be enough. What chances there could
be a wagon shaft on your car? they're supposed to be longer than a sedan but
I don't know by how much as I've never been into wagons to learn about them.
Anyhow, I hope it works for you.
Terry

list,
i have measured my auto tailshaft against a '72 model 1600 manual and they
were the same length.......
also, they are light blue, and consist of the same yoke...... this tailshaft
did not fit either......the yoke incl. dust cover was also identical to the
stanza tailshaft which came with the box........
the gearbox required reversing of the original x-member and 20 mm
spacers.......
are there any other dogleg stanza 5 speeds??????
tailshaft is in the process of being cut thursday arvo......
