This one is easy to diagnose, bitch to fix. The problem will be that the
contact points on the stabiliser coil that's inside the back of the gauges
are burnt. You can find another working gauge from the wreckers or to fix
yours you pull the pod out of the dash and take the back cover off and run a
points file over the contacts. If the winding is scorched you're outa luck
and need a new one.
