Hi all
Well the Z18et's turned up from NZ.... Ordered 4,
got 2 complete + some bits, with the other 2 on back order :(
Talk about a stuff around...But that's another sad and long
story which I'll leave for another time.....
Got a couple of question for those of you that have Z18's
On the 2 complete units we did get there are 3 boxes, the fuel
computer the knock control module and a third box with TCU
written on it? It would have been located under the Dash on
the Main loom (not on the Computer loom) ...
anybody know what this is??
Is this the EI module, or is that in the Dissy?
Also a couple of the TPS's (throttle position sensors) were
damaged... what other TPS's from other motors have people used??
Also on the Motor Loom (not the computer loom) was a little black
box with 'Boost control module' written on it .... I gather this was
just
used for the electronic boost gauge and didn't actually have any other
function as it doesn't seem to connect to the computer loom??
(except for maybe overboost cut) Should be ok if left disconnected??
