Craig has a great sense of humour, and he has done worse to me!
Last year he removed the auxillary battery of my Range rover, and taped in
one of those 12 volt fog machine things they use in garden ponds to make
clouds of artificial fog. He then ran a line from the windscreen washer to
it for the water supply and hooked it up to the spotlight relay. I got up
and went to work as usual, working afternoon shift. At 10pm on the way home
I headed down the highway with V8 singing, whacked on the Hella Turinis, and
5 minutes later see smoke coming out from under the bonnet. I pull over
(Turning to low beam because 4 spotties kill alternator at idle) and no
smoke. Drove off thinking I was going nuts, hit the spots and 5 mins later
smoke again. Pulled over in disgust but left spotties on and smoke poured
out underneath, so i got the fire extinguisher and gave it a blast up the
wheel well as we all know what happens when you lift the bonnet on an engine
fire. Emptied the extinguisher, couldn't see flame so sloooowly lifted
bonnet, maglite in hand. WHAT THE????????
I laughed for months after this - funniest joke I've had played on me!
