Hello again Ozdatters,
My ignition switch is nearing the end its life I'm afraid. It will supply
power to the coil while in the ON position, but not when in the START
position. It still turns the starter with great gusto, but no sparks.
I've been getting around this the last couple of times by using a jumper
lead to run power straight from the battery to the +ve terminal on the coil
to get it going.
Question is- local wrecker has no 510's. I'm assuming Mr Nissan has used a
compatible switch on some of the later Dats I can scavenge from?
