Get a Bluebird alternator from an 83-84 model series 2 (L engine)
BTW, I got the engine on Saturday and I am rebuilding it now. It had 2
broken top rings but wasn't to bad at all! I have fitted 2 1.75" SU's
(Genuine British late type onto the manifold ready to go. Should be a
rupper (NZ Hi Lux speak).
