Good thinking here, just watch that the "ackerman angle" is OK.
This is basically the angle drawn through the two ball joint centers on the
steering arm to the vehicle centre line. It's this angle that determines
how different the inside wheel turning circle is to the outside wheel
turning circle. Needed to avoid one wheel working against the other (toe
in/out) in a turn.
