The water jacket allows hot water to be passed through the manifold to
prevent icing of the carburettor in freezing conditions.

My L20B intake manifold has a water jacket that is blocked up. How can
clean it out and what is this water jacket for anyway? Same goes for the
little pipe going to the water pump...thats all blocked up too.
