It would keep the manifold at engine coolant temp, which would be below the
temp the manifold would experience when exposed to a hot exhaust after
stopping.

Thanks for the info Errol...guess I wont be needing that anyway up here in
blistering Queensland.
Does it also stop the fuel in the carby from boiling? Because that could be
a problem here.
