You will have to cut out of the firewall to allow the exhaust pipe from the
drivers side to reach the turbo on the passenger side. You can't mount the
motor further forward because it will hit the steering box and various other
stuff.
There is also a different gearbox you use that changes the location of the
starter motor.. Though I am not sure on that information.
Don't you think the vg20 manifold may be a bit small? If you use the VG30ET
manifold you will also need to cut a bit off the end of that otherwise it
will clash with the firewall.
This is what I have gathered from Chris' and Travis' VG conversions.
