I was wondering about the advantages and disavantages of running these
different types of setup.

Firstly i understand a suck thru setup is similar to Paddy's L16 where
the carb is before the turbo. Draw thru is after the turbo? right?

Anyway as i can see suck thru is easier to setup, you could use existing
fuel regulators and pumps (as long as they supply the greater demand for
fuel). The thing im curious with is running fuel through the hot
turbo. I take it this is ok because obviously its been done before and
proved to work but i still sceptical

With Draw thru you might not be able to use the existing carby, and if
you can it raises some sealing problems with the higher pressure fuel
you need to run to overcome the boost pressure. This also needs a high
pressure fuel pump and rising regulator plus a surge tank.

As i see it suck thru is heaps easier and cheaper... so what is the
disadvantage im not seeing??

thanks
- Julian
