Julian,

One word: Intercooling

With a blow through turbo (like zac's setup) you can cool the air charge
before it mixes with fuel in the carby, with a suck through setup (like
paddy's setup) you would have to cool a fuel/air charge- not a great idea!
There are plenty of suck through turbo cars around though so they obviously
work, one advantage is that you get a nicely mixed fuel/air charge I
suppose.

But yea, suck through turbo's are much easier to do, because you just treat
the carby(s) like on a thirsty N/A motor. No pressurised fuel bowls, no
high pressure fuel (you need boost pressure + ~5psi available for blow
through) so you can use the standard pump and lines.

Then again, intercooling may not be such a big draw card if you only want to
run low boost and don't have problems with detonation. As always, depends
on how much power you're chasing

- Tom

PS, Remember (to quote Bill Kenyon from the Bluebirds list) that there are
two kinds of 510's, those that have EFI, and those that need it :)
