Paddy,
I have found that once camber is set up correctly, it is very rarely that
anyone ever change the camber values themselves using strut tops.

Occasionally someone will change camber at the track if they have a team of
people doing pyrometer testing on tyres. This will usually be a very fine
adjustment to even out tread temperatures

Their main use is for the wheel aligner to allow them a bit more camber or
caster adjustment than normal. For track use most cars use the "camber only"
slotted tops.

Thanks for the info about K-mac . I asked a lot of suppliers in Vic about
them with no luck. I had a quote from one component manufacturer (known for
his brakes on commy's) for $1300 a pair. A tad pricey I though!!!!!!!!
Cheers

im using K-mac adjustable tops in my car, they have been on the car for
about 8 years too, i think they are about $350ish a pair now.
they dont have massive adjustment but do allow a few degrees(about 3 i
think) of castor and/or camber adjustment, the difference is noticable tho,
my steering steers itself straight and cornering is much better than stock.
i spose it all depends on how much adjustment you need. im quite happy with
what these do for me on the road anyway, mite be a different story on the
track tho.
 Paddy
