Hey Chris,
Noltec make adjustable strut tops for the street.
They use a polyurethane bush around the bearing - this gives a better
ride. Below is a link which has a picture of the strut top.
They also make a soid mount version, aimed more
towards track/race cars. With the solid munt, you can get a little more camber
and castor, but yuo also loose some ride quality. Below is a link to the solid
mount version.
Pricing for either of these tops is $440 (one
pair of tops).
Let me know if you want some.
Cheers,
Mark.

Subject: Adjustable strut tops
Hello everybody
I was looking at making a set of adjustable
strut tops for my daily driver 1600.
I was wondering i anyone knows how the top
apart works? I assume you get a sperical bearing the right size for the
narrowed down section, and the top spring pearch would also have to sit on
the inner part of the sperical bearing. Also the flattened side of the
threaded part at the top of the shock would have no use in this setup.
and the tightness of the bolt would be all that prevents the bearing turning
as opposed to the shaft rotating on the inside part
of bearing.
Has anyone ever run these on a roar car, i
would assume it would be pretty rough being solidly mounded and
all.
Hope my rambeling kinda makes
sence.
Thanks Chris King
Also if anyone has a set and wants to take a
couple of photos for me that would be great. --membersozdat-------------------------------------------------------
