Terry,

Yup more poke required, Brad and I went for a run
Sunday and "he whopped my arse" Grrrrrrrrr.

SR20 would be my ultimate choice but $ are also
required and after spending a fortune on 2 resto's
"She who must be obeyed" would ....... well I need not
go into graphic detail here.. chuckle

I am open to suggestions, Trev and yourself have both
spoken about head types so this seems a critical
component. I will add that I was unaware of the
different head types/designs till recently. So any
input is welcome. Trev suggested the L20 with the
supercharger, but I was told the L18 is stronger in
the block ??

The supercharger was going to be a "suck thru" system
(Trev ... the charger is a Toyota item and all is
perfect inside... I was actually thinking of running
about 7psi) as I can't seem to find a decent EFI
system to use and not cost me thousands of dollars. I
did see one for about $1700, but hell with a few more
bucks and and a begging routine with "the minister of
finance" I could be getting the SR20 anyway !!

So L series it is, kinda in keeping with the theme of
the car anyway. So Terry if you over my way, pop in
and we will thrash a few ideas for the trusty ?? L20
!!

I did have the webers on when I first kicked the L18
over, but the rear carby was sus, so I replaced them
with the SU's, I found out shortly after ... like 5
mins that the booster was a dud and that the massive
vac leak was the cause of the weber playing up ..
Dohhh and Grrrrrrr

Cheers

Bruce
