If you want fit an R200 do so, but its a fairly big job (body mods,
driveshaft fabrication etc.) by comparison to bolting in an R180, which will
not blow with your L series motor. 4.11 R180's are pretty easy to find in
Skylines, around 1978/82.

Subject: R200, 4.11 LSD
List,
Could someone please help me, I have a datto 1600 with a
tough new 2.4 L20b. I have fitted a ceramic clutch with a sprung
centre, and need to fit a tougher diff. I keep breaking the
R160's. I would like to fit an R200 4.11 LSD, and would
appreciate any information on the conversion process associated
with fitting this bigger diff. Also, if anyone knows the best place
to source this item (Adelaide), and the approximate price, this
would be most appreciated.
Regards,
David Thompson.
