I return line would keep all the fuel flowing and filtering so it wouldn't
allow much buildup of crud in the fuel tank I'd imagine. Useful if you like
to "Kramer" it like me and see how far you can go below empty...not good to
run a fuel injected motor down to the crud in the fuel tank either...blocks
the injectors.
