I've been rallying my dato for three years now with Torana Radius rods and
the only thing I would suggest is to reinforce the cup the rod goes through
and seam weld that area. I ripped out the radius rod and control arm in a
rally, did the above and haven't had a problem since.

Yep have been racing (sprints) with them for a year now.
No probs as yet.
I would watch out for problems due to excessive rod angle to front mount
(possibly caused by lowered front suspension) and stiff bushes. From reading
yankee stuff on the web I believe this is a problem with radius rods in
general snaping at the front mount.

Trev

Subject: adjustable castor?
List,
I am looking at fitting adjustable castor rods into my 1600. I have heard
from a reliable source that Torana caster rods snap easily, therefore are not
safe.
Any Input???
Are there alternative options that are'nt expensive.???
thanks
Damien
