Craig,
As soon as the pedal is released the piston moves back in the cylinder
toexpose the compensation port and return the line to atmospheric pressure.
It sounds like your piston is not returning fully to open up the port?
Cheers

Subject: Brake question
Was wandering how hydraulic pressure is released from the brake lines once
the foot is no longer on the pedal. I was driving my car for the first time
today in 5 months :) but after going round the block once the car stoppedby
itself. Its just the front callipers with a new 3/4" master. What could be
the cause of this?
After i opened the bleed screw on the master they released enough for me to
crawl home. Any ideas?
Cheers Craig
