Guys,
In regards to redrilling the blanks. Is that a home job? I'm under the
impression that if you aren't accurate you could have an unbalanced rotor?
Any tips on doing the job?

Tim

Both the Verada and Tarago swap are good, but I would swing towards the
Verada as it is such a popular conversion there is no end of info on it.
New rotors from DBA are inexpensive and you can order blanks for a more
professional job.

And lets not forget the old Chrysler Centura rotor if you are after a
cheap yet effective conversion

Subject: Brake Question

hows it going fellas,

just a quick question im sure someone will know the answer..

at the moment i am running 240k Struts and rotors on my 510..with Toyota

Hilux 4 Spot Callipers..

the calipers are great and reduced fade by a million times although i
would
further like to put some vented disks on my car to improve the pedal
feel
under load..

with out fabrication what are the best rotors to use? alot of people
use
Mitsubishi Verada Rotor, although im told that Toyota Tarago (the older
models) are a good swap, cheap and easily available..

what are your opinions on this? im leaning towards tarago as i would not

need to do too much as far as getting the rotor redrilled to suit the
part
which attaches (with the wheel studs, i can't don't know its name)...

thanks for your help fella's much appreciated

tim
