Nera,

Most rubber bits are still available nationally at Rare Spares (but come
with extremely rare prices). I don't know where you hail from but Most
capitals have alternate places that may not have everything but do have
various bits & pieces. In Sydney, Spectrum Rubber (formally Peter Jackson's)
stocked most bits at what I'd consider reasonable prices - I think everyone
agrees with me. You might save a $ here and there chasing cheaper
alternatives like Clarke Rubber has bailey channel but not much else for a
1600. At the end of the day, if it costs you a tank of fuel to track things
down bits that are a I reckon it's hardly worth it.

I haven't needed to buy much from Spectrum lately, may be someone who's been
there recently could update us on how it going since the business changed
hands as that usually causes a few changes.

There are also bits from other models that do the job too, I recall some ppl
have used a Commodore (model VB?) boot seal that just requires a bit of a
trim to fit a 1600.

regards
Terry
