The L13 rods are 7mm longer than the stock rods. This length increase allows
a significantly lower compression height piston to be used. This also means
the piston would be much lighter normally.

Are the rods in the L13 better to use because of being longer than 1600 and
180B ? I am looking at a new motor for mine and want to build up a fairly
strong one based on a 180B. I can get a hold of the L13 rods and was
wondering whether this is a good option.

Thanks for any assistance.

Eric
