Paul,
There are a couple of slightly different versions of the 200B SSS IRS, the
earlier imported sedan that's very ordinary as it's geometry is much like a
180B and the other is in the SSS and is more like a C210 Skyline and the
later is supposed to be fairly good and responds well to spring/shock
upgrades and lowering within reason. I think the main difference is where
the A arms bolt to the x-member but they only have R160 diffs but a R180 is
a bolt in. The SSS are a pretty good car for a 200B, fully imported so all
Japanese stuff but they were very exy new here and not very popular.
I guess you could transfer an IRS from the SSS into the Aussie sedan, I sure
that there is a difficulty or to that would be encountered but nothing too
difficult.
regards
Terry

Subject: Re: 200B SSS
I heard the IRS on the 200Bs was no good. I am interested in setting up a
decent suuspension system on my 200B which has the live axle.
Is the IRS on the 200Bs good and if so does it bolt on?
