Terry,
If you could send some pics I would appreciate it.
I have have a look at Jakes (turbo 510) in the metal and Eddie ratdat has
send over some pics. Thanks Eddie. I am doing a bit off trial fitting at the
moment and any ideas would be usefull.
Thanks
Trev

Trev,
The Wilkins FJ20 gearbox x-member looks very much like a modified 240K/C210
or possible a 200B. It uses the 1/2 height mount just like these do in their
respective stock configurations do. I think you'll have a bit of trouble
with adapting a 1600 x-member due to it's design, although it might work
reversed and modified to fit the auto body holes with a Stanza or 240K rear
mount. I have the real thing here (full mounting kit) and I'll drop you some
pix on the weekend which could be helpful for.
regards
Terry

Subject: FJ20 fitting
G'day everyone,
I am currently fitting my FJ. I am using what I think is a std 1600 gearbox
crosmember. Only problem is I have no rubber isolater mounts which mount
between the body and the crossmember.
Does anyone in Melbourne have a set that I can borrow or buy?
Is there an alternate mount on another model like 180B etc?
I have already reversed my crosmember and will be doing something similar to
Eddie ratdat for the engine mounts.
Thanks
Trev
