Davo sounds like maybe it has snaped the keyway on the front pulley and is
ratling ??They are hard to keep on with big revs. I doubt the bottom end would
fail from a big rev depending on how big a rev it was that is. Is it a knock or
a rattle?? I have had cam followers fail before and also flywheel bolts. Bottom
end should be near bullet proof pull the plugs and look for any trouble through
the hole. Give us a buzz if you want any further help its hard to tell without
actually seeing it or hearing it.
