Somewhere in the dim recesses of my mind I know of a
replacement that is a "direct fit".
It is an early Ford item, racking brain here.. XM ??XP
?? availiable from Rare Spares?? I will dig through my
"swappable parts notes" and see what I can find for
you and post it in the morning (it is at work).
We searched in vain to buy a "newie" for Brads car and
were told if we could get one, expect to pay $140:00
GULP!!!! This was before I found out about the Ford
item. We eventually found an original one in "as new
condition" so we saved a few bucks.. Phew !!!
