Luke,
Yes
the VL Turbo pumps are the best value for money, only around $140 gets something
like 250kw worth of fuel I think? Bosch motorsport pumps are about $380
and flow a shitload.
If you
take the 1/4" line out and ask a brake shop to copy it in 3/4" then you will
never have any fuel delivery problems. I say better to do it right the
first time. This cost me $40 for a 5/16" line for my wagon, a 3/8" is
harder to bend though so might cost more than just the extra for the
tube.
If
you're getting fuel pressure problems and think you might need a bigger return,
go to the wreckers and pull the return out of a early (68-69) 510 sedan which
will be 5/16" - this might even be big enough for your feed line if you're
not going too crazy.
