 hi, one thing i would try is to take all the spark plugs out, and put the
leads  back on the plugs, sit  the plugs on the rocker cover, so that you can
see them all, then turn the motor over and make sure that all the plugs are
firing at the gap.
   i done this once when  a friends car missing, and found out that one of the
NEW plugs was shorting thru the porcelain. this might be worth a try.just to
make sure every thing is sparking ok.
