        Have you measured up a VG30DET motor?  I looked at this conversion
and found that you would have great difficulties actually fitting it into a
1600 engine bay.  I'm not saying it can't be done just that a CA, FJ, SR
conversion is a lot easier and common.

Jason,

Besides why would you need to? A worked 2L turbo motor can produce
a streetable 400 HP. More than enough for any conceivable tyres you
can fit in a 1600 body.
