Sorry ...I was mixing up mean effective pressure with BRAKE mean effective pressure ...that takes mechanical efficiency into account too, whereas MEF or indicated MEF doesn't. That's just a calculation taking into account the heat energy of the mixture, thermal efficiency and VE.
