Subject: Help needed with spring selection and 240k strut question

List,
Firstly, thanks to everyone (Terry, Andrew Greenbury and Iggy) for their
input in relation to installing twin master cylinder and brake booster. I
connected it all up on Sat and tested it Sat night and they work heaps
better than the original 3/4" master cylinder with no booster or
proportioning valve and twin sumitomos.
Now I am trying to work out what springs I need to get. I no longer have
adjustable platforms in the front, I have replaced them with standard 240k
struts (with 270mm discs). BTW should the calliper be very close to the
steering arm, ie is this usual or should the struts be swapped sides, they
don't seem to rub at all. I have adjustable lower control arms and steering
arms if this makes a difference. In relation to spring heights, the back is
sitting at about 295mm-300mm from centre hub to guard lip and I am happy
with this height. The front with standard 240k struts and springs is
sitting at 365mm, and of course I want to lower the front so it is somewhere
between 320mm and 330mm. Cam has said that he can get me King Springs
cheaply from his website, but I need to know what specification or type of
spring I ask for - any help is much appreciated. Obviously I need springs
about 40mm lower than standard, is this all I need to know??

Thanks again list.

Lochie
