Good Question. I don't know if you can. I would not be surprised if CAMS made you put a new cage in the car. In fact they have tighten the rules up even further this year. You now have to get a form signed by an approved 'Roll Over Protection' person (eg Bond Roll bars) before CAMS will give you a log book.
I know CAMS would like to see all Alloy cages banned, but there are too many in cars already.
