You must be speaking from experience then, you
obviously haven't ever driven a rotary.
If you have (and I am only talking Rx7 onwards as
that is all I have driven) you will know they are not 'no torque' but I will
agree with you on 'all revs' . Just because the spec sheet says they have
all the torque up high doesn't mean they don't have any torque down low.
They have enough for street driving (but sure, they are no V8).. and then when
you boot it, they just rev out so smoothly and easily.
I love rotaries but am sticking to my datto for the
time being.
