Malcolm, Again, a VH41 produces 270ps, NOT 270kw!

That's over 1.5 million cubic inches of air per minute. Your 250 cu/in (4.1 litre) V8, assuming an unrealistic 100% volumetric efficiency and the usual 1 power stroke per 720 degrees of rotation, will produce 8 power strokes per 720 degrees of revolution. We do and the guy who started it sold it and went to Oz to live,Ron Rutherford,the race car driver from a few years back,thats the dude, Well it was Kelford here that got the book out and he done the maths in front of me and those air pods with the 63mmish outlet are only good for about 170Kw. The Vh41 also has a 80mm air flow meter so I need a 80mm pod thats about 9"round by about 12"long and thats for 270Kw. So if you have more than 270Kw you need a real big one. Note:300ZX twin turbo has two intake pods 170Kw x170Kw=340Kw. Now nissan know about what size pod you need.
