Anthony + anyone with info to share,
Just thought I'd send to the list rather than make it personal :-)
I was wondering what compression raio your running (if you don't mind
sharing the information).
I've just put an FJ Turbo into my 1600 but is yet to get running and I
wondered what sort of boost I might be able to run fairly safely. I'm not
thinking 20psi cos it's dead stock but I'm planning at some stage to rebuild
the engine and run some crazy boost, cos once you get used to ajustable
boost their is no turning back (I have it on my ET Turbo). I've got my hands
on a soon to be modifed Supra intercooler so hopefully that should keep the
intake temps reasonable. I normally run 10PSI on my ET and was think about
somehting like this for the FJ.
I've been on the ozdat list for a couple of years now but I'm normally
pretty quite but once I get a bit further into the car I'll send some pics
for anyone interested to check out.
btw Bruce Fergy your 1600 is sounding sweet everytime I'm over my oldies
working on my dat your in your shed giving it a rev and it reminds me of "
my good old days" of twin webers on my 2.1L L20B.
