Terry, thanks for the info. I already have a light bar on the car with wiring etc.. (everything bar the lights) I will modify the bar to be detachable and build a mounting point inside the boot.
So there are three types of spottie? Pencil, Driving, and Flood (Fog) So for a fast car you want 2 x Pencil and 2x Driving. And for a slow car (mine) you want 2x Driving and 2 x Flood or 4 x Driving. Additionally, what about aftermarket globes? The headlights from a Lexus's or BMW's have a bluish white light. Are these Xenon discharge? Are they also called H1 globes? I think they are about $35 a pair and can replace the standard Halogen globes. Sounds a worthwhile modification...
