hi, the only reason i have 10 mm leads is to eliminate the chance of any cross firing, and i think also that is what is required when fitting a  aftermarket computer , so there is no chance  of interferance.   i think  you will notice that all leads have the same diameter inner core  (might vary bugger all)  but its just  the insulation that is thicker.     mark k ----- Original Message ----- From: Terry Rudd To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, February 07, 2002 7:38 PM Subject: RE: power to coil Mark is  correct. I only have Denso specs so the numbers might be slightly different for a Bosch. The Denso operates at 13.3v +- 2v and output range is 38kv to 42kv so the spark quality isn't affected all that much if the input voltage is in range. On leads, I believe it's an urban myth that you have to have monster leads to have good voltage at the spark plug.
