I have an '81 Stanza SSS and it has no remotes on either. Wich models have the remote releases??
How much later did they produce the Stanza. In RWD anyway, i presume the later U12 Bluebirds/Pintatras which are called Stanzas in the States had remote releases for both fuel and boot, but i'm alos tipping they wont bolt into an old one!

SSS and other late model Stanzas have mechanical release boot AND fuel filler flap. Bolts straight in.
Bluebird also has remote mechanical release, cheaper and easier to get. Harder to hook up though.
What do you do if the solenoid, or linkage, fails and you have no boot lock?
