Ok, i've managed to get some bolts in the engine mount BUT they are thru the top holes on the engine mount into the bottom holes in the X member as in the pic http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/fj20t/mount2.jpg
The other side is bottom hole to bottom hole as it should be.
