Malcolm,

I adjust the rod on the pedal side as you describe, works well except you
can adjust that rod to you look like it with a 7/8" cylinder and it makes
very little or no difference. That's why I thought there must be something
inherent in the design that makes the 7/8" cyl unsuitable to use with the
Kiki booster.

>From what Leighton is talking about I have a feeling the problem is at the
other end of the booster but I'm not sure until he responds.

Are you talking about the steel rod and rubber seal that can pull out from
the
back of the booster?..
if so read on,,
That rod is ajustable so you can get the travel on the pedal right,if you
get a
booster from a 180B (610) it will need to be reset to suit a 510,can be done
still in the car but is a barsted,easier to take out.
i found just adjust them to be about 10mm longer does the trick.
