Greg,

I am aware of this, deformation and slander are only a problem if you
are exaggerating and have no evidence. I have evidence of Datspeed's
poor workman ship, and so do the MVIRC (Motor Vehicle and Industry
Repair Council). As I had to take it up with them because Barry would
not take responsibily for his (poor) work, and then he was forced to.

This was in the u.k. Their law is very similar to ours (I believe).
Either
way, you can get done for deformation and slander in Australia as well,
especially if you are just talking hearsay, and not known fact. Take
your
chances, but I would just be discrete about it, and direct email people
if
you want to go into a lot of detail and really shit on the buggers.
regards
Greg

Gentlemen,
Firstly to Barry from Datsport i'm sorry, i just queried if he was the
same
Barry as Datspeed who did the runner on several customers and suppliers
after christmas. No harm intended to Datsport.
Secondly as for the thread about the VW dealership taking a customer to
court for defamation, not only is this a good PR excercise for the
dealerships future, it also goes under the "only in America" file as
over
there you can practically sue people for giving you the flu. I hope the
dealership claimed loss of income aswell as they are going to need it
when
the buying public finds out how the dealership treats its unhappy
customers.
Thirdly on a brighter note to Barry of the now defunct Datspeed what
goes
around comes around son.
Rhys
