Eddie,
They came with an H165 and it bolts straight into the 310. I have used this
on my 310-race car. The only other option is the H190 from S12's but they
require a minor realignment of the upper arm mounts. No the H165 would not
handle the VG30. My 300C has an H190 and handles it very nicely. :)
Cheers

Subject: S110 diff

Evening all (or rather, morning :-)

I've got access to a scrap 1982 Silvia ( S110 ) and have so far pulled out
the EFI L18 and five speed and was looking to get the rear axle if possible
(if the owner doesn't want it) to fit into my B310 but looking at it I'd say
it's an H165 or similar rather than an H190 like I expected. I think the car
is from either Aus or South Africa as it's RHD, has a MPH speedo and no
Japanese writing anywhere. What diff did they come with other than an H190
and would it handle a VG30?

The car has been aquired by a friend who wants to use the bulkhead to
convert his 240RS to RHD! I spent some time today looking at the FJ24 and
wishing it was mine :-(

Cheers,
