Thanks Errol, All our S12's are IRS unfortunately (well, unfornate for me but not people with S12's) I'll probably grab the diff anyway as it might come in handy for future projects ...and i'm unlikely to find another. I guess it's back to "plan A" with the H190 vanette rear end.
Just out of interest, do Aussie 300C's have A/C and cruise control? And are the sedans all auto?
