Tried both those and still no luck. If I turn
the volume on the computer right up and the volume on the stereo right up I can
just hear something coming out of my stereo if I put my ear up to the
speaker. As for windows 98 I find it stable but a pain in the butt.
I have 98SE but it has no ASPI drivers (apparently?) thus whenever I got to rip
my CD's to MP3's it stuffs up. I never had this prob with XP when it was
working fine. I checked the BIOS and even reset it to the defaults and it
still has no luck. On start-up it shows the drive been part of the system
but doesn't "search" for anything in the drive like it used to.
I'm open to any other suggestions
guys.
