HELP!
Can anybody on the list prehaps enlighten me re the following: I tried to fit up a Datsun Sunny Brake Boster on the weekend. Problem: The booster will not sit hard up against the fire wall - it fowls on the top right nut that fixes the steering column assembly welded to the fire wall. The Booster also hits the edge of the clutch master cylinder. Has anybody else come across this problem? What can be done to rectify it? I could put a spacer plate on the booster and lengthen the studs through the fire wall or move the steering column bolt lower, or tap in the area at the back of the booster to allow for the nut and flatten the side of he booster to clear the clutch master. Any ideas or help appreciated!
