Well, since you asked, yes, and some socket sets ie Sidchrome already have one in them. It's a 1/2" socket drive which slides up and down a cylindrical bar. However, it's only really useful where you can't fit a ratchet- unless you slide a nice long bit of pipe over the end, which increases the torque on the nut, because........
