Tom, You are spot on. The number is the crown wheel diameter in mm. The long R200 fits into the 1600/180B. You can use the skyline Silvia LSD's but you have make up new centre adapters for the screw in axles or use large CV shafts. You also have to make up bolt spacers through the mounting flange as the later crown wheels have 12mm bolts and the early ones have 10mm bolts. There's two types of R200 LSD's, short and long, and only one type fits into 1600's.
