Nat,

Good to hear you're a runner again - always happy to help.

Indeed, the ignition feed wires go to the positive side of the coil, as does
the start feed wire.
(I did tell you how to check that your ignitions feed were OK.)

It sounds like you've learnt a bit about ignition systems in the process so
you'll find a problem in the future pretty easily - IMHO fixing it yourself
is a nicer feeling than taking it to an auto spark and getting nailed in the
hip pocket and you don't learn much that way.

regards
Terry

Subject: RE: Wiring for wiper 200B switch into a 1600!

Victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found the prob. The wires which go from the pos side

go (in the end!) back to the ignition! SO I looked
up the wiring diagram and found which wire was still
intact and which was not! I then ran a new wire to fix
the prob!

Just proves that if you sleep on it, the answer is
always there BUT sometimes you/I get so worked up over
it all that I/we miss it!!!!!!!!!
YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Thanks for all your help anway Terry!!

I'm still waiting on a mate to copy the wiring
diagrams for the 200B for you!(he's a slack bastard!!)

Cheers NAT
